NOAH coach Darren Replogle said he knew almost a month ago that his Jaguars had a chance to win a national homeschool baseball championship.

His hopes became reality Saturday when the Jaguars run-ruled a team from Raleigh, North Carolina, 13-3 to capture the Division I crown in the Homeschool World Series in Auburndale, Florida.

Matt Merrill scattered four hits over six innings and Nano Moss had three RBIs on a single and sacrifice fly.

The Jaguars (28-9) also run-ruled top-seeded Charlotte, North Carolina, in the semifinals and finished with more runs than any team in the tournament — 87 in seven games.
